For the next 24 hours, Scopely is having their Pink Diamond Tourney. What is different in this tournament is that EVERYONE that enters the premium will be GIVEN these custom dice. Well, not exactly given since it costs some bonus rolls (40 bonus rolls) to enter this premium tournament!
I want to get the black diamond custom dice but you have to win three premium tournaments in order to get them. That seems to be a tough task.
Are you going to enter the Pink Diamond Tourney? We'll see how many start rolling them in the next couple of days.
Here is what they look like:

How to Score 880 in Yahtzee with Buddies
Have you entered one of the daily FREE tournament or premium tournament in yahtzee with buddies? You feel really good about your 455 points you got as your final score and then realize that someone just got 880 and you may have a shot at an honorable mention.
Did you say, "What the cuss?!" or "How the cuss did they get that 880 score?!" Your immediate thought is: this game is rigged or someone is cheating, or even maybe - why even play since there is no possible way I'm going to win this cussing game.
The best you can hope for is to accomplish the honorable mention achievement and get the "sunshine custom dice."
If there is a prize other than the 200 or 1,800 bonus rolls something like a black diamond custom dice, then probably the top five or so will get 880 (aka perfect score, 13 yahtzee game).
How do you feel about the daily tournament or the premium tournament?

Clue Community Event in Yahtzee with Buddies
The Clue Community Event just started today (1/14/16) and lasts for 25 days. You have 25 days to collect 80 clues (magnifying glasses). You do this in various ways but playing will get you one. Beating the characters in the showdown will get you more, and so will doing tournaments.
Note that it says that you must qualify (get 80 magnifying glasses) and the community (all the players) have to collect 25,000,000 magnifying glasses. There are three tiers: 200 XP, 400 XP and 600 XP if everyone helps out. You have to wait 25 days to get your dice even if you finish early.
There are prizes for beating the dice masters. First you get XP, Bonus Rolls and/or Diamonds. You earned a few in the "Diamond Fortress" right?
Beat the whole showdown and get Cluedo Black Custom Dice. Beating the showdown gets you this new vanity profile. Each time you beat the clue showdown, you get a new marker around the vanity. Can you beat it five times?
Notice again, that once you beat a dice master that you can skip the waiting period by using some diamonds. For those of you asking, "What are diamonds for in Yahtzee with Buddies?" Now you know!
They are used like bonus rolls but harder to get.
Here are the dice masters that you need to beat; as I beat the bunch I'll update this post.
BRONZE LEVEL: Completing gets 5 Bonus Rolls
Professor Plum: 50 XP, 1 Clue, 171 Avg
Monsieur Brunette: 100 XP, 2 Clues, 192 Avg

Miss Peach: 5,000 XP, 50 Clues, 340 Avg
Beat the final dice master 4 more times and get a marker for each time on the vanity crown. Remember that for every 80 clues, you get a scratcher! Good luck.
I beat the challenge today (January 24th) using a fresh start; especially after Miss Peach got three yahtzee (50,70,80) at a certain point... I got the traditional, "You are in the top 1%" pop ups when it finished. It showed two crowns for the achievement. I'm not sure I want to try it four more times though.

Diamond Fortress in Yahtzee with Buddies Showdown
Yahtzee with Buddies just came out with a new showdown called the Diamond Fortress. I was wondering when they were going to start offering diamonds for prizes in something other than the dice duels.
The showdowns are shorter as in the Football Showdown but this showdown offers diamonds as a reward along with XP. I'm already at Lady Rollerby which is one step from beating the ladder. As you know, Lord Rollerby is in the dice master showdown as the second to last.
The opponents you'll need to defeat:
SILVER LEVEL
Harelquad: 200 XP Prize, Avg 245
Sir Sixalot: 300 XP Prize, Avg 285
The Dice Mice King: 500 XP Prize, Avg 300
GOLD LEVEL
Lady Rollerby: 1,000 XP Prize, Avg 320
Lord Rollerby: 1,500 XP Prize, Avg 345
You have to win/beat the showdown 5 times in 3 days to get the new custom crown dice. You'll definitely have to get two yahtzees to be safe in this challenge. I beat Lord Rollerby even though he scored late. Yes, those are red dice with diamonds in them!
There are no wait delays. Just play over and over to collect XP and diamonds for 3 days!
This is what pops up when you beat Lord Rollerby five times. Can you go 25-0?

Football Showdown in Yahtzee with Buddies
It looks like Yahtzee with Buddies finally incorporated diamonds in as their currency. Before, you earned diamonds in the duels but didn't know what to do with them. In their latest showdown for the football.
Before, you used bonus rolls to skip the wait. This time the first player was free and then the second was free. I tried to play the third and it wanted 5 diamonds to advance.
There are less dice masters in this showdown but the lowest average opponent is higher.
To get the football dice, you have to beat the showdown 5 times. I'll update this post as I progress and beat it.
SILVER LEVEL
Da Pigskins: Prize 100 XP, 245 Avg.
Swashbucklers: Prize 260 XP, 260 Avg.
Thirty Birds: Prize 350 XP, 275 Avg.
Silver Knights: Prize 500 XP, 285 Avg.
GOLD LEVEL
Coach Chance: Prize 2,000 XP, ? Avg.
Scopely changed this to a weekend only showdown.
